Mini Golf at Bryce Resort

We recently discovered that Bryce Resort has moved its mini golf course to just outside the main resort buildings.  According to the web site, it appears to be open on weekends in the fall & spring, with more availability in the summer.  We decided to check it out, and the kids had a great time.

We Welcome Birds, Too

The boys divided out the birdhouse into sections and each boy painted half of the house.  We'll see how the birds near the cabin like the boys' style!

The Stream Near the Cabin

One of our favorite places at Lake Laura is where a stream enters the lake.  The kids have a wonderful time hunting for fossils, looking for minnows and wading in the water.

The Ski Slopes in February

The ski slopes at Bryce are still going strong!  In mid-week, there were no crowds.  The ski school was still doing its nomal, wonderful job of teaching and the kids were having a great time.

The Shenandoah River in Winter

The Shenandoah River is quite popular for canoeing and fly-fishing in the warmer months, but it is still quite  beautiful in winter.
