Bryce Resort Ski Slopes are Open!

The ski slopes at Bryce Resort are open!  We absolutely love the resort -- it's the perfect place for our kids to learn how to ski.  The slopes all end up in one central place (very convenient for the parent waiting at the bottom!), the staff is friendly, and the instructors are great. It's a wonderful, low-key experience.

Chestnut Oak Lodge welcomes pets!  And, they LOVE it out here in the Shenandoah Valley.....or at least our dog does!

We've found Bryce Resort to be a wonderful, family-friendly place to enjoy winter sports:

Snow Tubing

Our family had a great time snow tubing on the 800 foot lanes at Bryce Resort.  The weather was mild, but the resort can make its own snow, so the place was packed with skiers, snow boarders and snow tubers.  Lots of fun!

Mini Golf at Bryce Resort

We recently discovered that Bryce Resort has moved its mini golf course to just outside the main resort buildings.  According to the web site, it appears to be open on weekends in the fall & spring, with more availability in the summer.  We decided to check it out, and the kids had a great time.
